New Day/New Year

On this first day of the new year I want to wish everyone love and joy in your life. Don't let the busyness of life wrap you up so tight that at the end of this year you sit and wonder what you spent all your time on. Purpose in your heart and mind to spend time on the people in your life, on things that makes a positive difference in the world. Yes, work is required to pay the bills but just make sure it doesn't consume all of your time and cause you lose out on time with the people in your life. When we are coming to the end of our "dash" the jobs we had and the money we did or did not have will not be what we contemplate on, it will be the people we love, the ones that loves us and our relationship with God that will matter. It takes much effort in this fast paced world we live in to keep that balance but it is totally worth the effort. Go to someone in your life that would be great at helping to remind you to keep the important things first and ask them to help you do so.
Relationships are like living things, if you don't feed them they die. Do what works to remind you to "feed" them with your time and emotions.
